Eamonn Brennan
In charge of EUROCONTROL since January 2018 as its Director General, Eamonn Brennan has embarked on a major reset of the organisation in order to position EUROCONTROL at the heart of European aviation by forging closer relations with EU bodies, Member States and all parts of the industry.
Building on over 35 years of experience across three continents in over 25 countries, Eamonn brings a wealth of knowledge to bear on his new role, with core experience in the aviation industry in a variety of board-level appointments (COOPANS Alliance, Borealis Alliance, CANSO, Aireon, Entry Point North).
Prior to joining EUROCONTROL, Eamonn served as the Chief Executive of the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA). In this role he was responsible for the provision of Air Traffic Management (ATM) services in Irish controlled airspace, aeronautical communications on the North Atlantic, and Air Traffic Control at the major Irish Airports, as well as the safety and security regulation of the Irish civil aviation industry.
