ERA supports Women in Aviation and Aerospace Charter
ERA is an official supporting organisation of the Women in Aviation and Aerospace Charter. With the charter, the UK’s aviation and aerospace sector is working together to build a more balanced and fair industry for women. The charter commits organisations to supporting the progression of women into senior roles, setting and reporting on internal diversity targets and linking senior pay to the achievement of those targets.
Memorandum of co-operation between ERA and the EBAA
In February 2019, ERA signed a memorandum of co-operation with the EBAA (European Business Aviation Association) recognising the power of collective action by both associations, and the common challenges and areas of activity that both associations are involved in on behalf of their respective members. It commits both associations to a closer working relationship for the benefit of both associations’ members and their key stakeholders including regulators, passengers, employees, society and shareholders.
Reciprocal agreement between ERA and Airlines UK
ERA has a reciprocal membership agreement with Airlines UK, whereby ERA is a member of Airlines UK, and Airlines UK is a member of ERA. Airlines UK is the trade body for UK-registered airlines and other carriers with a UK operation, with members representing all sectors of the industry.
Reciprocal agreement between ERA and DAA
ERA has a reciprocal membership agreement with the Danish Aviation Association (DAA), whereby ERA is a member of DAA, and DAA is a member of ERA. The Danish Aviation Association (DAA) was established in 1946. Members are from the entire Danish Kingdom, which includes Greenland and the Faroe Islands, operating under Danish legislation. DAA promotes commercial aviation and takes care of members’ interests vis- à-vis national and international authorities and organisations as well as conveying contacts between these and DAA members.
Reciprocal agreement between ERA and Hermes
ERA has a reciprocal membership agreement with Hermes - Air Transport Organisation, whereby ERA is a member of Hermes, and Hermes is a member of ERA. Hermes is a not-for-profit organisation that represents individuals who are widely perceived and acknowledged as leading personalities/professionals in the air transport sector.
Reciprocal agreement between ERA and the Swedish Aviation Industry Group
ERA has a reciprocal membership agreement with the Swedish Aviation Industry Group, whereby ERA is a member of the Swedish Aviation Industry Group, and the Swedish Aviation Industry Group is a member of ERA. The Swedish Aviation Industry Group (SFB) is a non-profit making organisation which promotes, protects and ensures that its member companies are not neglected with respect to political issues and lobbies for the continued survival and wellbeing of the Swedish air transport industry.
Reciprocal agreement between ERA and the RABA Group
ERA has a reciprocal membership agreement with the UK Regional and Business Airports (RABA) Group, whereby ERA is a member of RABA, and RABA is a member of ERA. The UK Regional and Business Airports (RABA) Group represents 40 UK airports with scheduled passenger throughputs of circa 3mppa or less, four of them based in the Crown Dependencies.
