SDM Consultation Campaign 2021
The 2021 Edition of the SESAR Deployment Programme (SDP) will be aligned with the content of the new Common Project 1 (CP1) regulation and ATM Functionalities. The CP1 legal proposal was presented during the 77th meeting of the Single Sky Committee the CP1 where it obtained a positive opinion of the which should lead to the publication of the regulation by latest end of February 2021.
The Planning View 2021 will complement the new release of the SDP, by detailing the new SDP families and deployment approach, including new deployment milestones and guidance material to provide a proper planning tool to ATM stakeholders impacted by the CP1 regulation.
The 2 consultation cycles of the SDP and Planning View 2021 can be summarized below and is reflected via the attached graphic:
Cycle 1:
- 17 March - distribution of the Initial Drafts of the SDP and Planning View 2021
- 7 April - deadline for Stakeholder comments
- 5 May - meeting of the Thematic Sub-Group
Cycle 2:
- 19 May - distribution of the Final Drafts of the SDP and Planning View 2021
- 2 June - deadline for Stakeholder comments
- 30 June - delivery of the finalised SDP and Planning View 2021
- 22 July - endorsement by SDA BoD
- By 30 July - Final delivery to European Commission
ERA will be contacting members in early March with the initial draft and looks forward to receiving your comments and ahead of the first deadline shortly after Easter.
