Stay safe and avoid event scams

European Regions Airline Association (ERA) is committed to making sure that all ERA members, attending delegates, exhibitors (if applicable) and sponsors have the best possible experience at our events. We carefully select and vet all of our partners and vendors to provide the best services to all. If you are approached by an outside vendor and are unsure about who they are, please contact events@eraa.org

Delegate list

Some companies may contact ERA members, delegates, exhibitors or sponsors claiming to sell and/or rent an ERA event delegate list. ERA does not rent, share, or sell contact information to any third parties. These companies have no association with ERA and are not authorised to use ERA’s name. Delegate lists for ERA events are only available via our event app and restricted to registered delegates.

Often these companies send spam emails to or cold call exhibiting or sponsoring member companies.  Please be vigilant.

Hotels

ERA members are strongly advised to only book hotel accommodation at the event hotel via the ERA website for the 2024 ERA General Assembly. ERA and the ERA General Assembly is not affiliated with any external companies to sell hotel accommodation, therefore if you are contacted by a housing bureau, they are not authorised by ERA.

Independent organisations or housing providers seem to offer lower rates, however they can be illegitimate, have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties, or be non-refundable. ERA and the ERA General Assembly will not be able to assist with any issues which may arise from booking through an independent organisation or housing provider. Please only book accommodation via the ERA website.

Phishing emails

Please be vigilant for phishing emails claiming to be from ERA. All genuine ERA messages will only ever come from the following ERA domains: @eraa.org and @eraa-comms.org or @events-eraa.org

Further information on this can be found on our website here: https://www.eraa.org/about/fraudulent-and-phishing-emails
