Johan Pelissier was appointed President of the Europe Region for Airbus in January 2024. Based in Toulouse, Pelissier is responsible for driving Airbus’s growth by leveraging the company’s presence, enhancing cross-business capabilities and building localisation strategies across 50+ European countries. He is also responsible for the sales activity of the Commercial Aircraft business in the Europe region.

With more than 25 years sales and marketing experience, Pelissier held various leadership roles within Thales and Airbus which he joined 13 years ago, in Southeast Asia (SEA) and in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to his current position, Pelissier was the Head of the Asia Pacific region, including India and South Asia, for the Airbus Defence and Space division from 2019 until 2023.

Born in 1978, he graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Télécommunications de Bretagne. Married, with three children, Johan enjoys swimming, cycling and running, he is especially passionate about running ultra-trails in mountains across the world.
