ERA’s objective in its work on policy and technical issues is to protect members from burdensome regulation, to raise the profile of our sector, promote its contribution to Europe and to focus and prioritise on regulatory and technical issues which are relevant to regional airlines.

ERA's Policy and Technical department deals with a wide range of issues for members and ERA Groups, workshops, conference calls and webexs are arranged to address topics of greatest interest or perceived threats to members. There are also regular updates on the Policy and Technical department's activities via social media, Members' Update, the regular policy documents and Regional International.
