The ERA General Assembly 2014 Planning Meeting took place on Wednesday 29 January at the venue for the main event in September, the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I and Catalunya Congress Centre. This meeting is held each year and brings together exhibitors and sponsors from the previous year’s event to discuss plans for the next General Assembly. The meeting was well attended with representatives from ATR, BAE SYSTEMS, Bombardier, Embraer, FlightSafety International, Fredheim International, ITP In service Support, KLM Engineering UK, Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp and Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey.
The meeting was held on Wednesday 29 January and was preceded on the evening prior by a planning dinner held at the charming Barceloneta Restaurant in Barcelona. Paula Bangle and Simon McNamara from the ERA Directorate discussed future plans and invited suggestions from the attendees on conference session and other activities which could be incorporated into the ERA General Assembly 2014.
