Henrik Mørch is Director DG Competition at the European Commission for Transport, Post and other Services.
Mørch, a Danish lawyer joined the European Commission in 1992 and initially worked in DG Competition until 2001. He was Member of Cabinet of Commissioner Poul Nielson in charge of Development and Humanitarian Aid from 2001–4 and then Member of Cabinet of Marian Fischer Boel in charge of Agriculture from 2004-5. He then moved to DG Internal Market and Services, where he was Head of Unit for Legal Affairs from 2005–2011 and then Head of Unit for Single Market Policy from 2011–15.
Mørch moved back to DG Competition as of 2015, where he became Head of Unit & Acting Director for Transport, Post and other Services as of 2015, and then Director for Transport, Post and other Services in 2016.
