Marco Pernetta, Managing Director, Innsbruck Airport

Marco Pernetta has worked for Innsbruck Airport since January 1999, starting as Head of Airport Operations and adding step-by-step responsibilities for safety, security, ramp handling, fire and winter services before he was appointed Managing Director in April 2014. He is currently Chairman of the European regional airports member group at the European airport association Airports Council International (ACI).
After studying Aeronautical Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin he joined the German Airports Association ADV for 7 years, where he specialised in EU air traffic liberalisation, bilateral negotiations, airport marketing and market research.
