BAE Systems - Regional Aircraft

BAE Systems Regional Aircraft offers logistical and technical support across the
fleet of aircraft previously manufactured.

In addition, our engineering and modifications business provides ‘turnkey’
solutions for third-party OEM types – from design and certification through to kit
supply and installation.

The future direction of the business is to provide a comprehensive fleet
management service comprising fleet planning, continuing airwor thiness
maintenance support, base maintenance and supply chain services for small- to
medium-sized operators initially in Europe.

The overall proposition is to increase aircraft availability and reduce maintenance
costs through an integrated management approach, including reliability and
obsolescence management.

Our strategy is to grow our range of support contracts that will evolve to include
aircraft types not necessarily manufactured by BAE Systems or its predecessors.

BAE Systems has been delivering this service to the UK Ministry of Defence
(MOD) across our fast jet aircraft for more than 15 years, meeting all availability
requirements, and this model forms the core of our aircraft availability support
solution to the UK’s MOD No.32 Squadron which went live in 2018.
