Warner Rootliep
Rootliep became Managing Director of KLM Cityhopper in October 2017. Having lived abroad during his childhood in Bangladesh, India and Denmark, Rootliep finished school in the Netherlands. After receiving his Masters degree in Business Economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam Rootliep followed Executive Management courses at Stanford University and at IMD in Lausanne.
After military service, Rootliep started at KLM, holding various finance positions, and joined the team to work on the Alitalia merger. After his appointment as Pricing & Revenue Manager for Asia & Middle East he became General Manager for Airfrance & KLM in India, Germany and UK & Ireland. In October 2017 he was appointed as Managing Director of KLM Cityhopper and CEO of KLM Cityhopper UK Ltd.
