FlightDataPeople first started as a Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) Service to British Airways and other airlines using BAFDA (British Airways Flight Data Analysis) software. The team has extensive aviation safety management, operational, engineering, maintenance and IT experience within airlines and our mission is to simplify processes whilst retaining best safety practice to ensure that our customers spend more time managing safety rather than as IT administrators. In 2013, we expanded our services to include SMS (Safety Management Systems) and were the first provider of hosted FDM and SMS solutions in the industry. Our main services include the hosting of FDM360 and SMS360 software, both of which have been purposely designed  to be intuitive and easy to implement allowing them to be extended throughout an organisation with minimal training whilst still providing a highly-effective and integrated solution. FDM360 currently monitors over 1,500 flights per day and can also provide extracts for EHM (Engine Health Monitoring), APM (Aircraft Performance Monitoring) and fuel efficiency purposes if required. SMS360 covers safety incident, audit and risk management allowing findings and associated mitigating actions to be assigned and monitored to ensure root causes are addressed. Powerful built-in reporting and analysis allows SPIs (Safety Performance Indicators) to be generated and monitored for safety assurance purposes. FlightDataPeople also offers consultancy and training services for safety and FDM related subjects.
