EUROCONTROL’s Aviation Sustainability Briefings

2 November 2021: In October 2021, Eurocontrol published its fourth edition of the Aviation Sustainability Briefing giving an overview of the Fit for 55 Package and what it means for aviation how ANSPs can green ATM’s ground infrastructure, adapting to climate change in Europe, Eurocontrol’s work on sustainability and decarbonisation developments around the world.

13 July 2021: On 9 July, Eurocontrol published its third edition of the Aviation Sustainability Briefing, giving a preview of key findings from its upcoming study on the climate change risks for European aviation, how climate change affects world airports, a reaction to Eurocontrol’s think paper on air and rail balance, and electrification at EU’s airports

18 May 2021: On 18 May, Eurocontrol published its second edition of the Aviation Sustainability Briefing outlining the last stakeholder forum meeting on Hydrogen technologies looking, therefore, at hydrogen technologies, contrail prevention and updates on EU ETS and CORSIA.
