Destination 2050 Roadmap will be updated for 2024

11 July 2023: ERA along the associations involved in Destination 2050 signed with NLR/SEO to update the roadmap document and aiming to publish a new version in the course of 2024.

The industry alliance committed climate neutral European aviation with a strategy to achieve such objectives. The initial report “A route to Net Zero European Aviation” was first published in January 2021. The report will now be reviewed and updated in 2024.  
Destination 2050 has chosen NLR/SEO to lead the review. They already worked on the previous reports “Road to Net Zero” and “Price of Net Zero”. 

ERA will have regular calls with other associations and the institution to keep up with the study. Also dedicated workshops will be organised, once the date are settled, members are welcome to participate, but they need to notify ERA of their intention to participate.
As for the other studies, the final version will be shared with members and presented in front of the institutions and policymakers.
