David Curmi, Executive Chairman, KM Malta Airlines

Session 1 - David Curmi is a financial services professional and corporate executive with more than three decades of senior executive leadership experience.

He is the Executive Chairman of KM Malta Airlines, the new flag carrier airline of the Maltese islands. Previously he served as Executive Chairman of Air Malta.

Curmi is a Director of World Aviation Group and a member of the Board of the Malta Tourism Authority.

He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of MAPFRE MSV Life and Director of MAPFRE Middlesea insurance companies, Director of International Hotel Investments, as the first Chairman of the Board of Governors of the National Development and Social Fund and of Trade Malta.

Curmi is a former President of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and served as Director of publicly listed entities.

Curmi is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of the United Kingdom and a Chartered Insurer.
