Elena Cuenca

Elena Cuenca joined ERA in September 2024 as Policy and Technical analyst.

Based in Brussels, Elena has recently completed her MSc in Airport Planning and Management at Cranfield University, and also holds a MSc and BEng in Aerospace Engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. Elena will support the policy team on operational, safety and infrastructure technical files.  From Girona, she speaks Spanish, Catalan and English.

Antoine Toulemont

Antoine has joined ERA as Head of Sustainability. He has worked with DGAC, the French CAA, for many years as well as with DG MOVE as Policy Officer. He is an aeronautical engineer and holds a private pilot licence.

Roberta Filosa

Roberta Filosa has been a Policy Analyst  and then Policy Manager at the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) since January 2022. She works on EU Internal Market, competition and consumer affairs. Prior to ERA, Roberta worked at ATR in the Public Affairs & Environment department. She holds a Master’s Degree in International and European Law with a specialisation in Transport and Air Law from the University of Toulouse as well as a Master’s Degree in General Law from the University of Milan. She speaks English, French, Italian and some Spanish.

Nick Rhodes

Nick represents the ERA membership on all operational and strategic matters relating to Air Traffic Management including capacity, environment and flow management as well as the ongoing development and deployment of the Single European Sky ATM Research Programme (SESAR)  He is also responsible for Communication / Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) topics such as Data-Link, Performance Based Navigation and Aircraft Tracking. 

Becky

Becky is responsible for the editorial content of ERA's printed and electronic publications; Regional International, the annual ERA Yearbook and the weekly membership electronic newsletter Members' Update. She is also responsible for media relations as well as press releases and  association articles and interviews.

 

 

Montserrat Barriga

Montserrat Barriga has been ERA (European Regions Airline Association) Director General since November 2017. She is responsible to ERA’s board for the delivery and implementation of ERA’s strategy as well as the advocacy work of the association on policy and technical matters. Under her leadership, ERA is highlighting the aviation sector’s vital contribution to Europe’s future economic prosperity, particularly in the regions of Europe.

Emily Ruskell

Emily works within business development and communications and assists in the production of ERA’s print media publications Regional International and the annual Yearbook, as well as the email newsletter Members’ Update. Emily runs all ERA’s social media platforms and assists in various corporate communication activities. In addition, Emily works on ERA’s two main events, the ERA General Assembly and ERA Regional Airline Conference, specifically in media relations. 

 

Lauren Reading

Lauren works within business development and is responsible for sponsorship and exhibition sales at both the ERA Regional Airline Conference and the ERA General Assembly. She is also responsible for the organisation and running the exhibition and the General Assembly together with event marketing and branding.  Lauren’s other key responsibility is airline membership recruitment. In addition, Lauren heads up the running of the ERA website, the communications and marketing software for association and markets a number of ERA’s regular group meetings.

 

Anne Lynch

Anne is responsible for the financial administration of both ERA and ERA Communications Ltd, including the processing of ERA membership fees, supplier and customer invoices, payments and payroll.
