Blue Air is the largest Romanian airline according to the number of passengers carried. The company has five operational bases in Bucharest, Bacau, Cluj-Napoca, Iaşi (Romania) and Turin (Italy). The company operates Boeing 737 aircraft and has a comprehensive fleet upgrade programmed with a firm order of 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 that entered the fleet starting in Q2 2021.

The evolution of the company and sustainable growth over the years has led Blue Air to win the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2018 and Travellers’ Choice Low-Cost Carrier for Europe. The company is IOSA certified by IATA for exceptional operating standards and is a full IATA member.
