Alain Corbel
Alain Corbel is currently Deputy Safety and Risk Management Director at HOP!, Air France's regional airline and Chair of ERA's Air Safety Group.
He worked for 10 years for the French defence agency DGA as expert in inertial navigation systems. In 2001, he joined the aviation world and occupied a variety of positions as Airworthiness Quality Manager, Flight Data Monitoring manager and Safety Risk Manager.
He is committed to a proactive approach to continuous improvement in flight safety. In 2016, he presented a paper on ‘Extreme values theory and landing distance’ at EASA's EOFDM forum.
He graduated an engineering degree and has a Master’s degree in business administration.
