Jacob Nitter Sørensen

Jacob Nitter Sørensen is an experienced leader in the aviation industry. Sørensen grew up in Nuuk, and his journey in aviation began as a small child, watching helicopters and planes fly as the only means of transportation to many parts of Greenland. Sørensen started his career in air traffic control in 1996 and then became a pilot and instructor. He has played central roles at Air Greenland for the past 24 years, including serving as COO until he took over as CEO in 2017. As group CEO, Sørensen is ultimately responsible for the group's aviation, travel agency, hotel, and tourism activities.
