Session 2 - Meiltje de Groot has been CEO of Groningen Airport Eelde since January 2021. She graduated from Groningen University in 1991 in Economics and Finance and has a long career in the aviation sector, including 12.5 years at Schiphol, seven years as Director of Twente Airport and nine years as a Director of Teuge International Airport. She is the founder of two organisations in the field of sustainable aviation and electric flying in the Netherlands. She is also chair of the Association of Dutch Airports (of which Schiphol is a participant) and of the Economic Board of the Northern Netherlands.
