Session 1 - Luke Farajallah joined Loganair as Chief Executive Officer in March 2024, continuing his career as a senior aviation professional that has spanned over 30 years and a variety of fixed-wing and rotary organisations. Before his time with Scotland’s airline, his extensive experience includes notable roles with low-cost carriers such easyJet and Wizzair where he was the Group Chief Operating Officer, living and working in Budapest, Hungary. Farajallah was also Group COO for Flybe until 2018, and has held positions with British Airways, BA CitiExpress and Brymon Airways. As well as having an impressive airline career portfolio, Farajallah has also held senior roles in the rotary sector – he led Bond Offshore Helicopters (a company serving the oil and gas sector from its base in Aberdeen) as Managing Director and has also served as CEO at Specialist Aviation Services, a company serving the air ambulance sector in the UK. Farajallah has also served a full term as a Board member of the oil and gas industry body, Oil & Gas UK.
