Tim Swail

Timothy Swail was named Vice President, Regional Aviation and APU Product Marketing & Sales in February, 2021. In this role, Tim focusses on next generation technologies to serve regional and commercial aviation customers, and customers of our auxiliary power unit (APU) business. He is also responsible for the company’s sales, marketing and in-service strategy in China.

Prior to his current position, Tim was Vice President, Customer Programs, where he led the Customer Service Engineering organization for all product lines and front-line support, including CFirst and Field Operations organizations. He has consistently championed P&WC’s reputation for excellence and exceptional levels of customer service.

Tim joined Pratt & Whitney Canada in 1989 as an engineer. He assumed positions of increasing responsibility within the Engineering organization before being appointed Director, Engine Development Programs, in May 2010.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
