Air Malta is a point-to-point operator offering a two cabin, premium and economy product. The airline of the Maltese Islands started operations on 1 April 1974 with seven scheduled services across Europe with two wet-leased aircraft. Air Malta now operates a fleet of eight Airbus A320 aircraft. Air Malta flies to 22 scheduled destinations in Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean and the UK. The airline is undergoing a fleet replacement project to replace all its fleet with brand new, more environmentally friendly 180-seater Airbus A320neos.
