Western France’s leading airport, NTE is the ideal gateway to Brittany, Vendée and the Loire Valley. NTE is served by 21 airlines, amongst which four are based, and is connected to 88 destinations directly in 25 countries.
Located just 10km from the city of Nantes, NTE is the sixth French regional airport and number one for holiday traffic. It reached 7.2 million customers in 2019 with a catchment area of six million inhabitants within two hours’ drive. In 2022 NTE regained 90 per cent of pre-pandemic traffic. The airport has optimised infrastructures, adapted to all airlines and designed to provide efficient service to both airlines and passengers. In 2022 the airport was awarded for its special care for disabled passengers. The airport is open from 6am until midnight, with a three-minute taxi time and an airport shuttle bus that takes you to the city centre in only 20 minutes. NTE is a compact airport and has obtained international standards certifications ISO 9001, ISO 14001 for its quality and environment management. It also obtained the level 3 of the Airport Carbon Accreditation in 2022 for its active carbon reduction.
