As a central component of transport infrastructure in Upper Austria, Linz Airport guarantees mobility and accessibility and is becoming more and more important with regards to European integration in an increasingly networked business world. Linz Airport is established as an intersection between air, rail and road. The airport not only acts as a nerve centre for passengers and freight every year, but is also a major employer in the region.
