Flybe is owned by Connect Airways, a consortium comprising Cyrus Capital, Stobart Group and Virgin Atlantic and will rebrand to become Virgin Connect in 2020. Flybe is Europe's largest regional airline and flies more UK domestic flights than any other airline – 38 per cent of all UK domestic flights in 2019. Flybe currently operates 139 routes serving 8 countries from 56 departure points in the UK and Europe and is the largest scheduled airline by air traffic movements at Aberdeen, Belfast City, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Isle of Man, Manchester, Newquay and Southampton airports. Flybe also partners with a number of other regional and network carriers though franchise and codeshare arrangements to extend their reach and network. Flybe has its own in-house MRO and the Flybe Training Academy where all initial and recurrent training for Flybe operational staff takes place, as well as offering third-party work.
