3 September 2024: The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Transport Call is a funding mechanism under the EU’s Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) policy. A launch event for the 2024 CEF2 Transport Call, expected to be published by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) this month, will take place in Brussels on 2 October.

The goal of the upcoming CEF call is to support the development of transport infrastructure and promote sustainable mobility across the EU. It specifically targets projects that enhance the efficiency, safety and environmental sustainability of air travel, aligning with the EU’s Green Deal objectives.

The call provides significant financial support for innovative and green aviation projects. It is expected that up to 50 per cent of eligible costs can be covered for studies and pilot projects, while up to 30 per cent to 50 per cent can be granted for infrastructure investments. Public and private entities, such as airports, airlines and air traffic management providers, are encouraged to submit proposals.

The event will launch the SESAR Deployment Manager (SDM) 2024 CEF2 Transport Call for Proposals Responses Preparation Phase.

The SDM will provide interested parties with detailed information on the process, timeline and all the mandatory documentation that will need to be submitted, as well as on how SDM can support during the elaboration and timely submission of any implementation project(s) related to the call.

The meeting will be held at SDM premises at EUROCONTROL, Brussels.

SDM will facilitate direct interaction with our experts and informal networking where you will be able to meet the team and exchange experiences with other stakeholders.
