A new survey has been launched as part of EASA’s impact assessment on the definition of Complex Motor-Powered Aircraft (CMPA). Open until 27 June, the consultation seeks feedback from operators and stakeholders on the current definition and the potential effects of revising it.
Developed by a consortium led by NLR and Ecorys, the survey focuses on:
- Issues with the current CMPA definition
- Administrative and cost burdens
- Impacts of a possible new definition
The questionnaire is tailored to each stakeholder group and includes a pause function, allowing you to complete it in stages.
ERA encourages all airline and manufacturer members to participate in this consultation.
Your input is essential to ensure that any future regulatory changes reflect the operational realities of regional aviation and support proportionate, practical outcomes for our sector.
The survey link has been shared directly with members of the Operations Group and airline and manufacturer main representative.
