Mistral Air is one of the main Italian air operators in the medium-haul charter sector, and is the only Italian air company funded by Italian capital operating jet aircraft in the cargo sector. Mistral Air was established over 40 years ago by Carlo Pedersoli (stage name Bud Spencer), and since 2002 has been owned by the Poste Italiane group. In 2015 Mistral Air operated over 10,000 flights, amounting to a total of approximately 18,000 flight hours, and transported over 600,000 passengers. From 2014, Mistral Air operated the Alitalia route between ROME and ANCONA using 2 ATR 72 500’s, a lot of route from and to TRIESTE, the islands of Lampedusa and Pantelleria, using 2 ATR 72 500’s. The company operates scheduled international flights, medium and short-haul charter flights and specially arranged flights. Mistral Air’s aim is to provide a service to individual customers, Tour Operator and companies that is as attentive and reliable as possible.
