OEM Meeting Summary.pdf

The ERA OEM Out of Production TC Holders Group was created as a result of an initiative that the Directorate pursued following discussion with several OEMs in ERA membership concerning ‘out of production’ aircraft. The aim of the group is to encourage communication and the sharing of knowledge and expertise between OEMs regarding type-certificated aircraft that although are classed as out of production, are still operated by ERA member airlines.

The directorate hosted an inaugural meeting of the group at the ERA office in June 2015, which provided a benchmark for the way forward with the group. A table detailing the relevant OEM contacts and their area of responsibility who are able to assist ERA members is available to view in the downloads section of this page.  A follow-up meeting of the group was held on 12 October 2016 at the ERA General Assembly in Madrid, and was attended by representatives from 328 Jet, BAE Systems Regional Aircraft, SAAB and Fokker. A summary of what was discussed during the meeting can be viewed in the downloads section of this page.
